Explosions rocked Zaporizhzhia on the morning of June 28. Russia struck the city with guided aerial bombs. The attack caused fires and destruction.
Ivan Fedorov, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported the attack.
As of 11:00 a.m., at least three people are confirmed injured, including a child.
"On Sunday morning, the Russians struck the regional center. Destruction and a fire have been reported. A man and a woman were injured," the official posted.
He later added that a child was also injured in the Russian strike on the regional center.
Fedorov clarified that Russia is attacking Zaporizhzhia with guided aerial bombs, though initial reports indicated missiles.

Explosions hit the city at 10:29 a.m., with authorities immediately confirming the enemy attack. Shortly before the blasts, Fedorov had warned of incoming high-speed missiles targeting the Zaporizhzhia region.
According to the Air Force, the Russian assault on the city is ongoing, with the air raid alert active across the region for over 3 hours.
