A new ministry will be established in Ukraine: Zelenskyy explained its responsibilities

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the creation of the Ministry for the Unity of Ukrainians. The appointment of a minister to head this government body is planned for the end of 2024.

He made this statement during his speech in the Verkhovna Rada on November 19.

Zelenskyy noted that it is necessary to take care of Ukrainians from all waves of migration who live abroad. This is why, in his opinion, the Ministry for the Unity of Ukrainians should be established.

"It will focus on the issues of the global, multi-million-strong Ukrainian community. Not as a side task, but purposefully. And by the end of the year, we will present the ministerial candidate for approval," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
