Combined attack on Ukraine: which regions were under attack and where the explosions were heard

On the night of May 26, the Russian invaders once again attacked Ukraine.

Details of the attack were reported by the Air Force of Ukraine.

The invaders launched 14 air-launched missiles and over three dozen strike UAVs, including:

• 2 Kh-47M2 "Kinzhal" aeroballistic missiles from MiG-31K aircraft (launched from the airspace of Tambov region)

• 12 cruise missiles Kh-101/Kh-555 from Tu-95MS strategic bombers (launch area: Saratov region)

• 31 strike UAVs Shahed-131/136 (launches from Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Yeysk, Cape Chauda – Crimea)

During the air defense battle, the anti-aircraft missile units, fighter aircraft, Electronic Warfare (EW) assets of the Air Force and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, managed to destroy the following:

• 12 cruise missiles Kh-101/Kh-555

• 31 strike UAVs Shahed-131/136

The aerial targets were destroyed in Mykolaiv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Zaporizhzhia, Khmelnytskyi, Kirovohrad, Vinnytsia and Chernihiv regions," the report says.
