Russians have accommodated 600 mobilized recruits and cadets, waiting to be deployed on the battlefield in Donetsk Region, in the bomb shelters of Zaporizhzhya NPP, Enerhoatom reports.

"New Russian military personnel - more than 600 mobilized and cadets from the Russian Federation - arrive at Zaporizhzhya NPP. They are accommodated the bomb shelter of the non-standard equipment (NSO) plant for, where they are waiting to be deployed on the battlefield in Donetsk Region," the statement reads.

It is also noted that invaders, together with Rosatom, continue to turn ZNPP into a military base. Thus, they have set up a machine gun position on the roof of the fifth power unit, and also placed checkpoints at all entrances to the clean overpasses, through which personnel get directly to the power units.

"In addition, invaders continue to build fortifications and military installations around the plant's power units and its dry spent fuel storage facility. Such actions of the Russians are categorically unacceptable and violate all existing nuclear and radiation safety standards," the company emphasizes.

Invaders also denied access to the storage facility to both Ukrainian personnel and IAEA representatives present at the ZNPP site.
