Invaders Are Selling Stolen Humanitarian Aid in Mariupol

In the temporarily occupied city of Mariupol, the Russian invasion troops and local collaborators are making profit from selling stolen humanitarian aid kits shipped by the Russian government, as Petro Andriushchenko, the Adviser to the Mayor of Mariupol, reported. 

"Seems like Volodymyr Kostiantynovych Ivashchenko, the son of self-proclaimed new mayor, who assumed the role of “fixer-for-hire” for invasion administration, has found common ground with the officers of Russian Ministry of Emergencies through the agency of local collaborator from Urzuf – Ivan Topazov and his accomplice and lover Tetiana Butiaieva. Now they simply steal the humanitarian aid kits shipped from Russia and make profit from selling them through the network of controlled companies”, Andriushchenko explained.

Other individuals involved in this criminal scheme are Serhii Serhiiovych Kosenko, the former Mariupol District Deputy and current right-hand man of Ivashchenko’s son, and Anatoliy Avramov, the former Mayor of Urzuf.

The scheme has been tested in nearby Urzuf village, and now after successful “pilot trial” it is being implemented in Mariupol itself.

According to the Adviser, the stolen humanitarian aid kits are sold through a network of “loyal” businesses, whose owners were warned that in case of refusal they would be sent “to the torture basement”.

Meanwhile, the officers of the Russian Ministry of Emergencies continue to loot and rob the houses of Mariupol civilians.

Local residents describe a weird tendency, where the overwhelming majorities of Russian “first responders” are using mostly hryvnas (and sometimes euros or dollars) for settlements and almost never pay in rubles.

“Where did they get hryvnas and foreign currency? The answer is clear as day: in the looted apartments and houses of Mariupol residents. The invasion authorities relentlessly prove that they the only thing they are competent at is looting and destruction”, Andriushchenko added.
