Serhiy Bratchuk, Spokesman for the Ukrainian Volunteer Army "South" confirmed the missile hit in Odesa

On the evening of Wednesday, August 14, the Russians attacked Odesa with ballistic missiles. According to initial reports, an "Iskander-M" missile struck the city.

This was reported by Serhiy Bratchuk, Spokesman for the Ukrainian Volunteer Army "South," on the "KYIV24" broadcast.

"We can confirm that the enemy indeed attacked Odesa today with ballistic missiles from the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea. Preliminary information indicates it was an "Iskander-M" missile. As far as I know, there was a hit, and the relevant services are working at the site," the spokesman said.

According to Bratchuk, the detailed information about the consequences of the attack will be provided by the Odesa Regional Military Administration after all necessary safety measures for the rescue operation have been completed.

"The Regional Military Administration or the military will report on the consequences of this strike. Unfortunately, it is indeed true. I hope that there will be no casualties. That would be the most important outcome of such an attack, in my opinion," Serhiy Bratchuk added.

An hour later, Odesa Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Kiper reported that the enemy had struck civilian infrastructure near the front lines.

"One person, a grain truck driver, was injured. The injured person has been hospitalized in a condition of moderate severity. Law enforcement officers are documenting the consequences of yet another Russian crime," the head of the Regional Military Administration wrote.
