Missile strike on Kyiv: death toll rises – latest updates
As of 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 33 people have been reported dead due to the missile strike by the Russian occupiers in Kyiv.

According to the State Emergency Service, search, rescue and recovery operations at the "Ohmatdyt" site have been completed. The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration stated that the Russian strike had completely destroyed the toxicology building, including the chronic and acute intoxication department where children receive dialysis. Most other buildings suffered significant damage. The affected departments include surgical, oncological, somatic, intensive care, radiology, radiation therapy, operating block, two intensive care unit, and the only oncological hematology laboratory in the country.
"Currently, 94 children have been evacuated to other hospitals in Kyiv. 68 children remain in the surviving departments of "Ohmatdyt" for treatment. 465 patients who required scheduled treatment have been examined and temporarily discharged home," the statement said.

At the time of the attack, 627 children were in the hospital. Eight of them were injured. Unfortunately, two adults died.
Search and rescue operations are ongoing under the rubble of a residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital. According to the latest information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the number of dead in the apartment building in the Shevchenkivskyi district has risen to 12 people. Among the dead are four children. Additionally, 120 people were injured, including 10 children. 11 people were rescued.
