The Global Peace Summit, initiated by Ukraine, is ongoing in Switzerland. The work on the text of the declaration based on the results of the peace summit has already been completed.

This was announced by Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba.

"As of now, the work on the text is finished. At the end of the summit, the presidents will announce the approval of the declaration. It will be open for other countries to join after the summit concludes. We already know that several countries are conducting internal analyses of the joint communiqué and plan to join it, even though they are not currently at the summit. The text is balanced, and all key positions insisted on by Ukraine are included," he said.

The diplomat also explained why Turkey and Saudi Arabia insisted on the presence of Russia and what Ukraine's position is.

"I think the main advantage of this summit, not only from the Ukrainian perspective but also from the standpoint of global diplomacy, is that each country can express its position. We hear everyone. This is not the kind of event Russia likes, where everyone gathers and speaks “in unison” with Russia. It is through such dialogue that we can reach the right decisions. I do not see any issues with the comments. The main thing is that these countries have come and expressed their support for the Peace Formula," he added.
