The Russian occupiers are continually changing their assault tactics and seeking the most effective ways to break through the defense lines of Ukrainian forces in northern Kharkiv.

This information was shared by Vitalii Sarantsev, Spokesman for the "Kharkiv" Operational-Tactical Grouping, on the air of the telethon.

"The tactics are quite variable and constantly changing. Sometimes the enemy tries to assault with small groups supported by artillery, and sometimes they try to increase the size of these groups. In Vovchansk yesterday, a heavy flamethrower system "TOS-1" was used against our troops," he said.

Sarantsev reported that the 155th Marine Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces, the 128th and 138th Brigades, as well as airborne assault units, are operating in this area. He also noted that the Russians replenish their losses by using reserves and redeploying units from other parts of the front.
