The Russian occupiers have started actively using tarpaulin-covered 122-mm BM-21 "Grad" MLRS for camouflage.
This was reported by military analyst Oleksandr Kovalenko of the "Information Resistance" group, who published the relevant photos.
According to the expert, the multiple launch rocket system externally looks like a regular tarpaulin-covered truck, which allows it to be used for combat missions and terrorist acts (such as shelling cities, etc) without initially arousing suspicion that an MLRS is approaching.

"It can't be said that the practice of camouflaging MLRS in this way is new. It has been around for half a century. It's good that such solutions reached the Russian occupying forces only in the third year of the war. On the other hand, it's not good that they reached them at all," Kovalenko noted.
