Russian forces launched intense strikes on thermal power plants: equipment damaged

On Friday, December 13, Russian forces conducted a massive strike on DTEK’s thermal power plants. While there were no casualties, significant damage was reported.
DTEK’s press service reported this.
"Russia carried out another massive terrorist attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. DTEK’s thermal power plants were targeted. Preliminary reports indicate no injuries," the statement reads.
Energy workers reported severe damage to the TPP equipment as a result of the strike. According to the company, this marks the 12th large-scale attack on Ukraine’s energy sector in 2024 and the ninth specifically targeting DTEK facilities.
