Russian forces launched "Shahed" drones at Ukraine: Affected regions

On the night of February 3, 2025, Russian forces carried out an aerial attack on Ukraine.

The Air Force of Ukraine reported the details.

"Starting at 19:00 on February 2, the enemy launched 71 strike UAVs of the "Shahed" type, along with various types of decoy drones, from the directions of Oryol, Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. As of 09:00 a.m., 38 strike "Shaheds" and other drones were confirmed shot down over the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnytsia, and Khmelnytskyi regions," the statement reads.

It is also reported that 25 enemy decoy drones were lost from radar tracking without causing any harm.

"As a result of the enemy attack, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Cherkasy regions suffered damage," the Air Force added.
