Russians Attack Sloviansk Central Market Causing Civilian Casualties

At least two persons were killed in the attack, and seven more suffered injuries, as Pavlo Kyrylenko, the Head of Donetsk Regional Military Administration reported in his Facebook post.

“The Russians once again deliberately attacked a crowded civilian location. This is pure terrorism. The terrorist state must be held accountable. I strongly recommend everyone to evacuate. Today the most important think is to save your lives”, Pavlo Kyrylenko emphasized. 

Andrii Yermak, the Head of Presidential Office of Ukraine, also responded to the incident. According to him, the Russians deliberately use the “burnt soil” tactics against Ukrainian peaceful cities and civilians.

“The Russians continue to use the “burnt soil” tactics” against peaceful cities and civilians. It’s a shameful tactics typical for terrorists. We need more weapon and even more HIMARS systems in order to prevent them from firing dozens of thousands of shells daily targeting our cities. Decision on recognition of Russia as the state sponsor of terrorism must be made as soon as possible”, Andrii Yermak emphasized.
