The Cabinet of Ministers is preparing several technical solutions so that Ukrainian schools in regions, where the security situation permits, can operate offline throughout the entire school year.

This was announced by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in his evening address on August 5. Zelenskyy reported that he had received a briefing from Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, particularly regarding the regional work of government officials.

"There are many issues concerning the preparation for the new school year. Our priority is to help schools in all regions, where safety allows, to open for children and operate offline. The government is currently preparing several technical solutions to facilitate this," the President noted.

Additionally, according to Zelenskyy, he also receives regular reports on energy – preparations for the heating season and increased protection of energy infrastructure.
