Thr Russians have made significant progress in the partially occupied city of Toretsk in Donetsk region and now control most of the city.
This is reported by the OSINT monitoring project DeepState.
According to the channel, the overall trend in the city is extremely worrying, as the enemy is gradually infiltrating and taking control. Active fighting continues in the central part of the city, where many multi-story buildings are located. Unfortunately, according to DeepState, nearly all of them have fallen under enemy control.
Russian infantry has also been frequently spotted between the spoil heaps in the northern part of Toretsk and the western outskirts of the town. These two areas consist of private housing, where the Russians are constantly trying to hide, survive, and entrench themselves in preparation for further advances and eventual occupation of the city.
"It will not be news if, in the near future, the northern part of the city comes fully under enemy control, as the endless use of infantry, which is difficult to detect among the buildings, is taking its toll. Strikes on the occupiers are mostly carried out with FPV drones and drops from Mavic drones, showing these tools as the main means of enemy destruction. This is further proof of how essential these tools are for our military and how important it is for society to contribute to meeting this need," DeepState stated.
Moreover, fighting continues in the "Zabalko" neighborhood, which the Russians have practically fully occupied. Attempts to storm in the direction of Shcherbynivka and Leonidivka continue, but Ukrainian units holding defense in this area have been "thwarting all the enemy’s attempts."

"The battle for the city continues," the channel concluded.
Meanwhile, footage has surfaced showing the current condition of the city of Toretsk, where bloody battles are ongoing. The images reveal that no residential buildings remain intact, and there is no civilian population left. Toretsk is becoming yet another ghost town.
