"They just throw us "meat": Ukrainian Armed Forces told about fierce battles for Toretsk

In the battles for Toretsk in Donetsk region, the occupiers primarily use infantry assaults, as it is difficult for military vehicles to move through the urban environment, making it easier to conduct infantry attacks.

This was shared by Anastasia Bobovnikova, spokesperson for the Operational and Tactical Group "Luhansk," in an interview on "Suspilne".

In the fighting in Toretsk, the Russian army loses approximately one mechanized battalion every week, which equals more than 500 personnel.

According to Bobovnikova, the enemy continues to advance, but they pay a high price for it. According to her, the enemy mainly relies on infantry assaults rather than military vehicles in the urban area. Additionally, the Russians have fewer vehicles compared to manpower.

"They just throw us "meat," Bobovnikova said.

Russian forces conduct assaults using armored vehicles near the settlement of Nelipivka. Bobovnikova states that due to weather conditions, Russian forces reduced the use of air bombs, but airstrikes continue.
