"We may lose Donbas": An MP warned about Putin's goals and set timelines
The enemy will not stop the war in 2025 or 2027, an MP believes.
What did Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin enshrine in the Russian constitution?
By the end of 2027, Ukraine may lose Donbas if partner support remains at the same level.
This was stated by Member of Parliament Ruslan Horbenko during his appearance on Den.LIVE.
He emphasizes that Russia's goal is to seize the territories that Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin himself has enshrined in Russia's constitution. Therefore, if the enemy's advance continues at the same pace, not only Donbas but also Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions will be at risk.
"The enemy has a goal — to capture these regions, as they are written into their constitution. They are preparing not only for 2025, but also for 2026 and 2027. They are preparing... Because, as they say, if they take the situation on the ground, and if they continue advancing this way while our partners provide us with this level of assistance, I think by the end of 2027, unfortunately, we may lose Donetsk region as well," Ruslan Horbenko said.
And the enemy will not stop at Donetsk region, according to the MP.
"Let’s read the Russian constitution again... It includes Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions as well... I believe their appetites will only grow. So it is necessary for our partners to understand that this inhuman must truly be stopped," Horbenko added.
