Much will depend on the U.S. elections.

Whether Russia will be ready to negotiate the end of the war in Ukraine depends on several factors.
President Volodymyr Zelensky told journalists about this, according to RBC-Ukraine.
The President stated that, first of all, it depends on the elections in the United States.
"I think they [Russia] will be watching U.S. policy on this issue. And the United States will demonstrate its policy very quickly after the elections, in my opinion," he said.
According to him, the winner of the election will not wait until January.
"They won’t be able to do certain things due to their powers, but they will be able to do something," Zelenskyy explained.
The second factor, he said, depends on energy and free navigation.
"Also, if we manage to achieve results on these two points, this will also be a signal of whether Russia is ready to end the war," the President added.
The third point is Ukraine's work with some countries of the Global South.
"We are working on that. We have meetings. Different countries, different contacts. Today, Sybiha went to Turkey. Tomorrow, Rustem Umerov and Andriy Yermak will go to another country in the Global South," he added.
Additionally, the Kursk operation had a significant impact.
"For them, of course, it’s a serious shock and signals about the state of the Russian army — that for several months, their army has been unable to push Ukrainian forces out of Russian territory," the President said.
