President Volodymyr Zelenskyy answered whether the war with Russia could end this year and what it depends on.
The Head of State said this at a joint press conference with Latvian President Edgars Rinkevics.
"Whether the war can end this year or when it will end truly depends on many things. To sustain Ukrainian strength, it is crucial to support this strength and morale. And it's very important. It is supported not only by weapons, not only by finances, but also politically," Zelenskyy said.
He emphasized that negotiations regarding joining the European Union are crucial in this regard.
"So, the end of this war, the restoration of our territories, a just peace – it all depends on the unity of all of us," the President of Ukraine concluded.
