At the current stage of the full-scale war, two factors are decisive — understanding the real challenges and dispelling illusions both within the country and in the Kremlin.

Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha wrote this in his post.

Sybiha states that Russian president Vladimir Putin will have to halt the war once it is evident that winning on the battlefield is impossible and that continuing the aggression would cost more than ending it.

Sybiha also stressed that international assistance needs to be expanded, moving from a «provide as needed» approach to a «provide as strongly as possible» strategy.

He stressed that modern battlefield superiority hinges not on nuclear deterrence but on mass production of cheap strike and surveillance drones. According to him, Ukraine could ramp up to producing 20 million drones in 2025 if its defense sector receives rapid and sufficient funding.

«We’re racing against time on resources and technology. Ukraine must reach parity and then superiority to pressure Putin into ending the war, ” he said.
