Western components found in «Lancet» drones striking central Kyiv, US among them
Experts, examining «Lancet» drones that reached Kyiv on March 16, found components from the United States and Europe.

At least 50 foreign-made parts were identified in the Russian drones, presidential advisor on sanctions policy Vladyslav Vlasiuk said.

The drones managed to reach Kyiv «under their own power» due to design modifications. In the downed drones, investigators discovered:
- LiDAR and camera units;
- extra memory modules;
- an updated processor.
Vlasiuk said key components were made in the U.S., Switzerland, the Netherlands, Germany, South Korea, China, and Russia. Some were recently produced in 2023 and 2024. One drone fell on Maidan Nezalezhnosti.
