Enemy May Soon Attempt to Secure Full Control over Donetsk and Luhansk Regions — the General Staff
In order to ensure quantitative superiority in armaments and military equipment deployed on the battlefield, the Russian Federation has increased the production volumes of its own military industry by sacrificing the product quality, and intensified cooperation with foreign countries and in the field of military supplies.

In the nearest future, the enemy will likely focus its efforts on strategic task of securing full control over Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine, as Brigade General Oleksii Hromov, the Deputy Chief of Head Operational Office of the AFU’s General Staff, said his during a briefing at the Military Media Centre on December 15th.
According to Gromov, given the successes of Ukrainian defence forces in the Kherson and Kharkiv areas, the Russian military and political leadership was forced to adjust its operational plans of invasion.
"In the short-term perspective, the enemy will likely focus its efforts on strategic task of securing full control over Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine," a representative of the AFU General Staff said.

Moreover, according to the General Staff, due to the urged need for extra military personnel to replace the losses suffered by Russian units fighting in Ukraine, the Russian leadership adopted a number of legislative instruments in November this year significantly expanding the categories of citizens considered fit for military draft. Therefore, Oleksiy Hromov also warned about another upcoming wave of forced mobilization in the temporarily seized parts of Luhansk Region.
