Ignat explained why Russia uses more aircraft during sorties than missiles
In particular, the occupiers carry out simulated launches.

The Russian occupiers often use more aircraft than the number of missiles they fire during missile attacks. This way, Russia not only conducts combat sorties but also trains its aviation personnel.
This information was shared by Spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force, Yuriy Ignat, during a telethon.
According to him, the Russians conduct simulated launches, practice reaching launch points, and return to their airfields.
"This is practice of simulated launches they conduct when entering the launch area... This is how they train their aviation personnel - taking off, reaching the missile launch threshold. That is why seven missiles were launched yesterday, and nine aircraft were used," Ignat explained.
The representative of the Air Force emphasizes that during the last missile attack, the Russian Federation raised nine bombers into the sky, but launched seven missiles.
