Against the backdrop of massive airstrikes by the Russian terrorist army on Ukrainian cities, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy pointed out the large number of air defense systems in Europe that are "standing idle".
He emphasized this during his traditional evening address on Saturday, November 9.
The President reminded that this week, the enemy struck Kharkiv, Donetsk, Sumy, Odesa, and Zaporizhzhia.
"Basically, daily drone strikes. Also, missile strikes," he said.
According to Zelenskyy, at every meeting and every negotiation with international partners who have the appropriate air defense systems, the topic of additional protection for Ukraine from Russian terror is raised.
"There are still enough air defense systems here, on the continent, that could provide Ukraine with truly reliable protection. And it is incomprehensible when air defense systems just stand idle. They stand idle when each system could save hundreds, if not thousands, of lives. We will continue to convince our partners," he promised.
