"It’s Just Another Mockery": Invaders in Mariupol Charge an Arm and a Leg for Basic Goods at the Stores (Photo)

In the Russia-controlled city of Mariupol, the invaders charge arm and leg for very basic hygiene goods at the stores.

The cheapest bottle of shampoo costs UAH 129, dishwashing sponges cost UAH 71, sanitary pads cost UAH 99, dishawashing solution costs UAH 108, and a pack of baby diapers is as expensive as UAH 1 680.

According to the City Council, the local residents just cannot afford these goods.

These people have no jobs, no money and no access to humanitarian aid.

"They see the most essential basic goods they desperately need at the store shelves and just cannot afford it. It’s just another mockery and a sophisticated way to abuse Mariupol residents surviving under inhumane living conditions the so-called “liberators” have created”, the City Council emphasized.
