Kuleba explains why Trump seeks a quick deal with Ukraine

U.S. President Donald Trump is eager to reach a quick agreement to showcase his greatness, while Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is fighting to protect the country's interests.

This opinion was expressed by former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, as reported by "Trukha".

"Trump needs a quick deal to demonstrate his greatness to everyone. For this, he is willing to escalate to any level in order to force Ukraine into such an agreement. That’s all that’s happening," he said.

According to him, Zelenskyy understands all of this and is fighting for better terms for Ukraine. 

"Putin is sitting and watching all this with a smile, while also fulfilling his main task, which is to make sure his friend Donald Trump doesn't see any problems with Putin but sees them with Zelenskyy," he shared.
