Kuleba met with Szijjártó: what the Foreign Ministers discussed

According to Kuleba, appeasing Putin yields no results.

Kuleba met with Hungarian Foreign Minister Szijártó

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba held a conversation with Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó about preparations for the second Peace Summit and the development of bilateral relations.

Kuleba shared this on social media platform X.

"I met with my Hungarian counterpart Péter Szijjártó. I informed Péter about the situation on the frontline and the preparations for the second Peace Summit. In this context, I emphasized that no peace initiatives can be based on Russian narratives," he said.

He stressed that the recent Russian attack on the children's hospital "Ohmatdyt" once again demonstrated that appeasing Putin yields no results. The Russian dictator continues to seek war, and we need to work together to force him to accept a just and lasting peace.

"In continuation of the agreements reached during Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán's recent visit to Kyiv, the parties discussed further joint steps to develop bilateral relations," Kuleba added.
