Massive Russian offensive in Donbas: Is there a threat now?
The situation near the city of Pokrovsk is relatively stable.

Currently, the likelihood of large-scale offensive actions by the Russian army in Donetsk region remains. This is partly because the occupiers have reserves for such actions.
This was stated by military expert Mykhailo Zhyrohov on Radio NV.
He emphasized that the situation near Pokrovsk is relatively stable, but the Russians are looking for other weak points. Meanwhile, combat operations are shifting towards the Lyman direction.
"In order to reinforce these combat actions, they have started massive shelling and bombings of Kostiantynivka and Kramatorsk. And regularly, we hear about civilian casualties there," he added.
However, according to Zhyrohov, the Russians are seeing a decrease in volunteers. Nevertheless, the command is trying to encourage them with increased financial incentives.
"As for the reserves, the Russians have taken the simplest route and are reducing the training of new recruits, trying to form reserves within a few months. The issue, however, is the quality of these reserves. But the tactic they are using doesn’t require much preparation. Very often, this leads to what we call "meat assaults," the expert said.
