"Osman has declared a crisis in the use of assault units on the frontline

Stanislav Bunyatov stated that there is a systemic problem in the use of assault regiments, which are forced to patch up defense breaches instead of full-fledged work.

The systematic use of assault units as a temporary reserve to "put out fires" at the front remains one of the key problems in the AFU, which negatively affects the stability of defensive lines.

This was stated by Stanislav Bunyatov, known under the call sign "Osmán", commenting on the organization of combat work of assault units in Telegram.

"A huge problem in the assault forces remains the task of 'firefighting' The assault regiments and battalions are in fact the hub of the reserve, from which combat companies and battalions are sent to subordinate brigades that are sagging under enemy pressure," he said.

According to Bunyatov, instead of the systematic use of assault regiments as full-fledged combat units, their personnel are dispersed among units that have lost control over sections of the front. This, he believes, reduces the effectiveness of both the assault units themselves and the overall defense.

He also noted that the logic behind the transfer of trained stormtroopers to the troubled brigades remains unclear for a long time.

"Why give more or less trained fighters to the commander of "X" brigade, when an assault regiment can fully occupy the problem lane and take command of "X" brigade's men is a mystery that no one can solve for at least 2 years."

Separately, Bunyatov drew attention to the difference in approaches to battle management between assault unit commanders and individual brigade commanders. According to him, some commanders of assault regiments and battalions have already proven their ability to effectively stabilize the defense line even in critical conditions.

"There are commanders of assault regiments and battalions who have long ago proved that they can qualitatively manage the battle and intentionally stabilize the defense line, unlike those brigade commanders who, over a cup of coffee, send attached assault groups to repel positions that have already fucked...up, but it was not reported," he said.

We shall remind you that earlier we wrote about the fact that the military ombudsman Olga Reshetilova reported that she received a number of appeals from servicemen of the regiment "Skala" regarding serious violations of their rights. We are talking about beatings and psychological pressure from the command.
