Ihor Zhovkva, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, expressed this on the air of the telethon.
He mentioned that Ukraine had negotiated regarding the grain corridor with two parties, namely Turkey and the UN. Zhovkva reminded that Ukraine had not held any direct negotiations with Russia.
"Certainly, the President of Ukraine raised this issue with Mr. Erdogan, and the President of Turkey assured of his full support and said that yes, it should be continued," Zhovkva said.
He stated that Ukraine also has no communication problems with the UN.
Furthermore, Zhovkva reminded that recently the President of the Republic of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, declared the importance of continuation the "grain agreement".
"We are ready to continue, we are talking with our partners...And if they (Russia) are blocking it, then the international community, the same guarantors of this agreement, the UN and Turkey, should pay attention to it and find a way to deal with it.
We, for our part, are ready to provide our grain, our ports, expand the number of ports... our ships in order to ensure food security of the countries of the global south," said the Deputy Head of the Presidential Office.
