Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed possible ways to resolve the grain agreement with the leader of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa.
This information was reported by the Kremlin press service.

It is noted that the phone conversation took place at the initiative of South Africa. According to the Russian dictator, the commitments recorded in the relevant Russia-UN memorandum regarding the removal of obstacles for the export of Russian food and fertilizer remain unfulfilled.

"The main goal of the agreement, namely the supply of grain to countries in need, including those on the African continent, has not been implemented," the Kremlin press service stated.
