Russia's summer offensive: an expert identified the Kremlin's goal

Russia has not abandoned its intentions to reach the borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Therefore, brutal battles may occur in the east during the summer.

This was stated by Oleksandr Kovalenko, a military-political analyst of the "Information Resistance" group, in a comment to "RBC-Ukraine."

According to him, simultaneous combat operations may take place in two or even three directions in the east during the summer. The occupiers will try to push forward within their plan to occupy the Donbas.

"It will be the Kramatorsk and Pokrovsk directions simultaneously. It is quite possible that we also will hear about the Toretsk direction soon. These locations will be the scene of the fiercest battles," Kovalenko says.
