Last night, Russia carried out one of the most massive attacks by strike drones in Ukraine during the entire war.

This was announced by Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Serhiy Popko, in a message on social networks.

And the main target of the aggressor was Kyiv. The enemy directed dozens of its drones at the capital of Ukraine, at a peaceful city. This was the seventh attack on Kyiv by enemy drones in July. It became the most massive for the capital in 2024 in terms of the number of UAVs used.

The air raid alert lasted over seven hours as enemy drones approached Kyiv in waves and from nearly all possible directions.

Air defense forces destroyed over three dozen drones in Kyiv's airspace and on its approaches. The Ukrainian Air Force will release information on the type and exact number of drones.

As of the latest operational report, there were no casualties or damage in Kyiv, though this information is still being clarified.

"We thank all the warriors who protect our skies! Please pay close attention to air raid signals and do not ignore them. Take care of yourselves and your loved ones!" Serhiy Popko, Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration said.
