In Selydove, Russian troops killed local residents and fired upon a civilian vehicle. An investigation has been launched into these incidents.

This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.

"In the released video, soldiers of the aggressor state are seen allegedly firing automatic weapons at a civilian vehicle in a populated area. During the attack, two civilians were inside the vehicle. One was wounded. Following this, Ukrainian military forces arrived at the scene, pulled the injured person out of the line of fire, provided first aid, and evacuated civilians from under fire. Preliminary reports suggest this occurred on October 24, 2024," the statement said.

Additionally, according to media reports, the enemy shot two women in the city. Online sources also indicate that in a residential area largely unaffected by active combat, the bodies of deceased civilians are present.

"These killings, it appears, took place after the territory was already under the control of the enemy," the agency added.

Under the procedural leadership of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted in criminal proceedings on charges of violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 2, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
