"Ukrenergo" replies on how much longer they will cut off electricity

Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, Chairman of the Management Board of NPC "Ukrenergo", told when the schedules for power outages will be canceled.

He said this on the air of the telethon.

"In these conditions, the electricity will be cut off until generation is restored. And this will take months, assuming there are no new attacks," says Kudrytskyi.

"Ukrenergo's" chief confirmed that this week, throughout the summer, and during the autumn and winter, Ukrainians should be prepared for the possibility of scheduled power outages.

"We are currently in a situation where we have a very strong deficit in energy production. Power plants cannot be quickly restored after such severe missile damage. Therefore, shortages will occur from time to time. We all need to be prepared for this," he concluded.
