What tactics are the Russians using in Toretsk: the Operational-Tactical Group "Luhansk" explains
The situation remains unchanged.
Toretsk
The occupiers continue their advance in the urban area of Toretsk in Donetsk region along Central Street, where heavy dynamic fighting is taking place.
Spokesperson for the Operational-Tactical Group "Luhansk," Anastasia Bobovnikova said this on the air of the telethon.
"We are holding back the enemy on Central Street. However, the fighting in the city is very dynamic. At times, they manage to infiltrate, and we destroy and push them back. At other times, they may capture some entrance, and we also push them back. Therefore, the situation can change significantly in just hours."
The occupiers are also trying to storm the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Chasiv Yar, New York and in the Severodonetsk direction, using small group tactics. They primarily attack in small groups of 3-5 people, rarely using equipment. Our soldiers are resisting the intense pressure from the regular infantry units, special forces and artillery of the Russian troops.
