This information was revealed in an investigation conducted by the "Protokol" publication.

Journalists have found that Iran supplies the Russians with components for Shahed drones and trains Alabuga specialists on its own territory. The first trip of specialists to Iran took place in March 2023. In total, the plan is to train over 200 individuals.

Iran also provides Russia with planning, equipment lists, technological processes, technological maps and design documentation, which the aggressor country adapts to their production.

According to investigators, the potential value of the contract between Tehran and Moscow for drones is estimated at 115-130 billion rubles. Journalists drew attention to the fact that drones are called "boats" in internal documents, and Iran is called Belarus.

According to the sources of the publication, the project for the construction of the Shahed production plant was initially planned to be financed with 80 billion rubles, but only 30 billion rubles were allocated from the budget. The remaining amount could be provided by the head of the Russian bank "VTB," Andrey Kostin.

As of today, the hangar for assembling drones occupies approximately 40,000 square meters. The management of Alabuga aims to start manufacturing a portion of the components there in 2024 and subsequently introduce production automation.

"According to one of our sources, the efficiency of assembly is expected to surpass the Iranian counterpart by dozens of times, and the total area of the hangars will exceed 100,000 square meters. Essentially, it will be a separate village dedicated solely to the production of drones for the Russian military. We already know about the involvement of students, including foreign ones, in the production of Iranian drones," the investigation states.
