A loud explosion was heard in Mykolaiv: what is known about the attack and the victims 

On Thursday, March 21, a loud explosion was heard in Mykolaiv. Shortly after that, an air alert was announced in the city at 14:29. As a result of the attack, there is one killed and several injured. 

This information is reported by monitoring channels and local media. 

"Sounds of an explosion can be heard in Mykolaiv, the correspondents of “Suspilne” report," media said. 

City Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych confirmed the explosion. The Mayor promised to provide details of the attack on Mykolaiv later. 

"A loud explosion in the city. Ballistic missiles. People of Mykolaiv, please refrain from taking photos," the message reads. 

Later, Head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim, reported one woman killed and four injured: three women and one man. The search continues, he emphasized.
