In Ukraine, the number of properties and infrastructure facilities destroyed due to military actions has increased by 50,000 over the past year.
This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine – Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Oleksii Kuleba, as reported by "Ukrinform".
Kuleba provided updated figures on war-damaged structures:
"At the beginning of 2024, we recorded 280,000 destroyed objects. This number has now risen to 330,000. In just one year, this dreadful trend has added 50,000 destroyed objects," the minister said.
He emphasizes the importance of not just rebuilding what has been destroyed but also ensuring that each restoration decision and project embodies meaning, logic, and care for people.
Kuleba believes that digitalization is a key tool for making the recovery process as clear, effective, transparent, and accountable as possible at every stage.
