The enemy is advancing not only in the territory of the Kurakhove Thermal Power Plant, but also in the area of the pipe plant.

This was reported by military expert, co-chair of the public organization "Prava Spava", Dmytro Snehiryov, in an interview with the Espreso publication.

"Unfortunately, the occupiers have achieved tactical successes. Currently, the main focus of the fighting in the Kurakhove direction will shift towards the settlement of Dachne. This is a strategic settlement for both the Ukrainian Defense Forces and the occupiers. It covers the Kurakhove-Zaporizhzhia road, which is a key logistical route for the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Therefore, all the occupiers' efforts are focused on either establishing direct control or fire control over this area," the expert stated.

He also noted that after the active phase of the fighting in the Kurakhove direction, enemy units will likely be transferred to the Pokrovsk direction.

"Speaking about the Kurakhove direction as a whole, we can conclude that after the active phase of the fighting in this area, units of the occupying army will be redeployed to the Pokrovsk direction. It is no coincidence that after capturing the settlement of Shevchenko, which is one of the flanks of the Pokrovsk direction, the occupiers will try to develop their tactical successes towards Pokrovsk. The distance from Shevchenko to Pokrovsk is about two kilometers. Regarding the overall situation in the Pokrovsk direction, after capturing not only Shevchenko but also Ukrainka, the occupiers aim to flank the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces concentrated in the Pokrovsk agglomeration. This includes Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, and further operational rear areas," Snehiryov emphasized.

He also points out that the enemy is currently advancing in the area of the settlements of Solone and Vozdvyzhenka.

"Currently, there is an advance of the occupiers in the area of the settlement of Solone, and there is information about their movement near Vozdvyzhinka. This already represents a dangerous scenario for the Ukrainian Defense Forces. However, just like in the Kurakhove and Pokrovsk directions, the main battles will unfold around strategic locations. In the Pokrovsk direction, it is the Pokrovsk-Pavlohrad highway. It is also important to note the mood in Ukrainian media. Only 8 kilometers remain to the administrative borders of Dnipropetrovsk region. These 8 kilometers still need to be covered because Pokrovsk is a large industrial city with a developed industrial infrastructure, and so-called industrial zones. Furthermore, preparations are underway both for the city itself and for engineering and fortification structures around the city, up to about two kilometers from the city," the expert added.
