Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted emotionally to the attack on Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico.

The President of Ukraine wrote about this on his page on the social network X.

"The assassination attempt on Slovakia’s Prime Minister Robert Fico is appalling. We strongly condemn this act of violence against our neighboring partner state's head of government. Every effort should be made to ensure that violence does not become the norm in any country, form, or sphere", Zelenskyy wrote.

He expressed Ukraine's solidarity with the people of Slovakia and hope for Robert Fico's swift recovery.
