On the night of February 13, the Russian occupying army attacked Dnipro with drones, launching 23 drones. Ukrainian Air forces shot down 16 UAVs.

The Air Force Spokesman, Yuriy Ignat told about this on the air of the telethon.

"It was hot in Dnipro. The air defense was most active in this region. The enemy tried to hit certain objects, unfortunately, there are some damages there – these are objects of the fuel and energy sector, which the enemy often targets. 16 out of 23 kamikaze drones of the “Shahed” type were shot down," he noted.

According to the spokesman, the frontline regions of Ukraine are currently under more frequent attacks, and Dnipro is one such region that is close to the front line.

"Therefore, the percentage of hitting such targets as the “Shahed” UAVs may be lower – there's nothing surprising about that. When the “Shaheds” penetrate deeper into the country, they are shot down in places where it's possible. Strike fire groups most actively work on attack drones," Ignat concluded.
