The enemy is operating in small groups near the border line, planning to accumulate forces to cut off logistics routes and complicate the supply of Ukrainian troops in Kursk region.
This was stated by spokesman for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko, Ukrinform reports.
"The enemy, along the border line, is trying to enter in small groups to accumulate forces on our territory. This is a flank area where the Defense Forces are conducting operations within the Kursk region. The enemy's goal is most likely to cut off logistics routes in order to prevent the supply of necessary resources to our troops across the border in Kursk region," he said.
In addition, Demchenko confirmed that Ukrainian units from the Armed Forces and the State Border Guard Service in Sumy region are taking all necessary measures to prevent the enemy from invading our territory and establishing a foothold.
