Despite Declared “De-Escalation”, Invaders Don’t Seem to Decrease Military Activities in Kyiv Region
The same is true for Chernihiv.
Despite lout statements of the Russian government regarding alleged withdrawal of troops from Chernihiv and Kyiv, the invaders continue their attacks on the regions. All night, the outskirts of Irpin were the scene of active combat operations.
“Therefore, currently we cannot confirm declared de-escalation of combat operations intensity in Kyiv and Chernihiv region”, Vadim Denysenko, the Adviser to the Minister pf Interior Affairs of Ukraine, reported.
Viacheslav Chaus, the Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration also refuted alleged decrease of the Russian military activity in Chernihiv Region.
Meanwhile, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced that so-called “withdrawal of troops” may actually indicate a rotation of certain Russian units aimed to confuse Ukrainian military command and create a false impression of abandonment of initial plans to surround Kyiv.
