Residents of Dnipro shared their first moments after a drone strike hit the high-rise buildings. Fortunately, there were no casualties, but people will need to replace the windows. Those who lived in the affected buildings are slowly recovering from the traumatic experience.

The footage was released by Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak.

"Locals refer to such enemy attacks not as terrorism, but as genocide. A typical residential area in Dnipro, where life is bustling, surrounded by high-rises. People went through a truly difficult night. Their homes have been devastated," the official said.

Dnipro residents describe the initial moments of the attack According to Svitlana, a resident of one of the damaged buildings, her family was at home at the time.

"It suddenly became bright, something caught fire on the roof," she says.The residents admit that they had never heard such a loud sound before. Some were even thrown out of their beds by the blast wave.

"Thank goodness we're all alive and well. As for the windows, well, we'll replace them," Anatoliy said.Olena, a neighbor, recounted how she woke up to the sound of glass shattering.

"Then I checked my blood pressure, it was 170 over 90. I took some pills, got dressed, and went to check on the others, asking: what was that, why did it happen, how did it happen?" she says.

Another resident, Nadia, acknowledged that living under such stress every day is impossible.

"We try to hold ourselves together, work, teach the children, and support each other’s spirits. Because there's no other way," she concluded.
