The effective use of ATACMS missiles, particularly against North Korean units in Kursk region, could impact Kim Jong Un's decision to send additional forces to Russia.

This opinion was expressed by military expert Valeriy Ryabykh during an interview on Espreso.

"This could be crucial, especially in light of the North Korean dictator’s statements about preparing for war and allegedly planning to send up to 100,000 North Korean troops to his Russian counterpart. Supposedly, the goal is to gain experience and prepare for potential future conflicts.

However, if the majority of troops sent by the North Korean dictator are effectively neutralized by ATACMS - especially in the initial deployment of up to 12,000 - this could significantly affect the decision to deploy more forces to assist the Russians. After all, the North Korean dictator primarily needs troops that will return with combat experience, not in coffins," the expert believes.
