Today, April 2, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke at the "Restoring Justice for Ukraine" conference. He emphasized that every aggressor must be brought to justice in The Hague.
The Head of State wrote about this on his social media page.
According to him, justice is the line from which the movement towards lasting peace can begin. While weapons provide physical defense, justice restores the sense of security in life.
"Every potential aggressor must know what awaits him if he destroys peace. Justice is capable of ensuring this. We must do everything possible for the sake of the power of justice, so that justice provides real strength to our collective security - security from Russian aggression and terror. And let everyone who destroys peace be truly afraid of ending up on the dock in The Hague," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
Note that the conference takes place in The Hague and brings together states and organizations working to achieve justice for Ukraine. The conference is designed to take stock of progress in the investigation of Russian war crimes and the coordination of international efforts for justice.
