Everyone Must Go to School: the Russians Are Coercing School Student Parents

In Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia Region, the invaders are using any available means in order to force parents bring their kids to school on September 1st. The invaders are also coercing teachers, as Ivan Fedorov, the Mayor of Melitopol, reported.

"First, they’ve announced that they after September 1st they won’t let children out of the temporarily seized territories. Second, those parents who bring their children to school will receive a social benefit in amount of RUB 10 thousand. They essentially are bribing parents to buy the school students. Third, they are visiting teachers and homeroom advisors at their homes and coerce them into bringing their own children to schools as well”, Fedorov said.
