Factory Workers in Mariupol Are Being Recruited for Construction of Fortifications in Kherson Region

In the temporarily seized city of Mariupol, invaders actively recruit factory workers for “tours of duty” to Kherson Region for alleged construction of “fortification facilities”, as Petro Andriushchenko, the Mayor of Mariupol, reports.

"Factory workers are actively recruited for “tours of duty” to Kherson Region for alleged construction of “fortification facilities”. Invaders are telling the stories about non-existent 7 or 8 lines of defence, offer security and increased payment wages. Many people accept the offers due to lack of jobs for qualified factory workers in the city", he said.

Andriushchenko warns that this may potentially indicate that the invaders have started another wave of hidden mobilization.
