"Global Threat for Humanity”: Experts Spoke about the Danger of Nuclear Exercises Announced by Russia

The “Thunder” nuclear exercises announced by Russia at the background of full-scale military aggression and systematic nuclear blackmail may be used as an excuse for further escalation, the Center for Strategic Communications warns.

According to the experts, the Thunder” exercises include launchers of hypersonic and intercontinental ballistic missiles capable of carrying nuclear warheads (missiles), rather than nuclear warheads themselves.

Meanwhile, Russia hasn’t conducted any military drills with actual nuclear explosions for the last 32 years, therefore the condition of its nuclear arsenal gives rise to reasonable concerns.

"At the background of full-scale military aggression and systematic nuclear blackmail, Russia may use these exercises as an excuse for further escalation. Nuclear exercises involving intercontinental ballistic missiles conducted by the country with obviously delusional leadership are a global threat for entire humanity”, the report reads.
